On June 16, 2009, Fitch Ratings affirmed the above financial strength, commercial paper, and senior debt ratings. Fitch Ratings' outlook on all of Lincoln's ratings remains negative.

On June 22, 2009, Moody's Investors Service affirmed the above financial strength, commercial paper, and senior debt ratings. Moody's outlook on all of Lincoln's ratings remains negative. This rating action concluded the review for possible downgrade that was begun on April 15, 2009.

On October 21, 2009, A.M. Best affirmed the above financial strength, commercial paper, and senior debt ratings. A.M. Best's outlook on all of Lincoln's ratings remains negative.
