| Since the early 90's, Stadion — previously known as PMFM — has managed assets for a wide range of clients, including individual investors, trust accounts, and qualified retirement plans. Its objective continues to be achieving a balance between safety and return. To achieve this balance, Stadion developed a proprietary tactical asset allocation model based on technical market analysis designed to help it measure market volatility and manage investor assets accordingly. An Athens, Georgia-based firm, Stadion also was a pioneer in the application of exchange traded funds (ETFs) within tactical asset allocation portfolios. |
| Investment Approach |
In general, Stadion Managed Conservative Separate Account will be invested in exchange traded funds that track equity markets or market sectors when Stadion believes its asset allocation model indicates a high probability for appreciation and a low risk of losing value. Likewise, when Stadion believes its allocation model indicates significant risks, the separate account generally will have a higher weighting in fixed income ETFs, cash positions and similar securities.
Long-term, the separate account seeks to achieve market-like returns with less volatility. The separate account is one of three portfolios managed by Stadion. Others in the series include the Stadion Managed Growth Separate Account and the Stadion Managed Moderate Separate Account.
