| Investment Approach |
Under normal market conditions, the Templeton Global Income Securities Fund invests mainly in the debt securities of governments and their political subdivisions and agencies, supranational organizations, and companies located anywhere in the world, including emerging markets.
The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in bonds, which include debt securities of any maturity, such as bonds, notes, bills and debentures. The Fund normally invests at least 40% of its net assets in foreign securities, may invest a portion of its total assets in bonds rated below investment grade and a significant portion of its assets in emerging markets.
