When Lincoln Financial adopted President Abraham Lincoln's name in 1905, we also embraced his ideals. And in 2013, we launched Lincoln's Legacy initiative to recognize the 150th anniversaries of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment and inspire others.

Lincoln's Legacy Award
During each year of Lincoln's Legacy, we awarded $50,000 to an education-focused nonprofit organization. Learn more about award winners.
