Two-Factor Authentication Terms
and Conditions

Please read the following terms of use carefully. By participating in Lincoln's two-factor authentication program, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions presented here.


Program: Lincoln offers its end users access to their account information after successful validation of a two-factor authentication code. Enrollment requires identification of the user's Lincoln relationship as well as providing a mobile phone number, land line. The mobile phone number's verification is done by the user receiving a SMS message or phone call with a verification code which they will have to enter on the website. The land line phone number's verification is done by the user receiving a phone call with a verification code which they will have to enter on the website. This program will be ongoing. Standard messaging charges apply.

To change the program: You can choose another method or change the phone number used for two-factor authentication via the security settings screen under the profile menu.


Deactivating mobile or land line phone numbers: If you deactivate service for the mobile or land line phone number that you have enrolled in two-factor authentication, you are responsible for deactivating that same phone number as described in how to change the program above.
